Welcome to the website of Forres Community Garden.
We grow and tend vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers, and look after bees. We have community composting and rain water harvesting, and many members share tools, seeds and knowledge, and practical help. We have two poly-tunnels.
Gardeners each have their own growing area which is usually a quarter of a circular area shared between four gardeners (known as a ‘pod’)
Our umbrella organisation is Transition Town Forres (TTF) who initiated the project and secured the lease and funding. TTF run several projects and many activities – for details check out the TTF website.
You will find details of how to apply for membership, and various aspects of the garden activities on this site.
